C‑CAMP is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated, pro-active individual, capable of working independently and as a part of the team, for the Post-Doctoral Translation Scientist position:

Position available at the Discovery to Innovation Accelerator (DIA), C‑CAMP, based on the below mentioned experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing Translational Research and protocols for different Discovery to Innovation Accelerator (DIA) projects.
  1. Designing and executing of laboratory experiments, field trials, validation studies, collect and analyse data.
  2. Maintain accurate record of all the experiments and provide ready access to all data to the reporting authority.
  3. Conduct literature reviews as per the requirements of the projects.
  4. Participate in project meetings, seminars, laboratory meetings and other lab activities.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of the project, workflow.
  6. Able to prepare grant applicants, proposals to support projects and to generate detailed progress reports, presentations and other documentations for reporting authorities.
  7. Stay updated with advancements in agricultural sciences, regulatory guidelines, and industry trends.
  • Collaborating and complementing a larger team of professionals, working on existing projects at DIA and other members at C‑CAMP.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to agriculture (e.g., pesticide/​biopesticide regulations, GMO guidelines) preferred.
  • Travelling occasionally as per project requirements.v) Undertaking relevant training on additional techniques required for project execution and subsequently training the team.

Money

The position is on Contract basis and a consolidated salary, based on the merits (experience in similar work and qualifications) of the selected individual will be offered.

Qualification

PhD in any discipline of Agriculture, Plant sciences or associated fields

Experience

  • 0 – 2 years’ Postdoctoral or industry experience
  • A strong track record of publications/​patents.
  • Exceptional candidates who have submitted thesis towards grant of PhD will be considered for Translation Post Doctoral position.
  • Candidates with any National Level fellowship certificates (e.g.; CSIR-JRF, UGC-JRF, GATE, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, etc) will be given preference.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Intellectual- property management, productization and commercialisation is desirable.
