HBCSE invites applications for the CSR-funded post of Program Coordinator – Aamchi Prayogshaala. The Aamchi Prayogshaala initiative aims to engage school children from disadvantaged backgrounds in simple, hands-on science experiments to promote experiential learning.

• Conduct regular science sessions in underprivileged schools in the Mumbai Metropolitan region.
• Travel to multiple schools in the Mumbai Metropolitan region is expected. Candidate should be comfortable with this.
• Teach and demonstrate concepts from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to the 10^th standard through a hands-on approach.
• Contribute to the development of new learning resources and experiments aligned with school syllabi.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and documentation of outreach activities.
• Undertake any other work assigned by the project supervisor.

Nature of the Position

• This CSR-funded position is purely temporary and project-based.
• No accommodation will be provided.
• Maximum Age Limit: 30 years (as on 01/10/2025).

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Bachelor’s degree in any science/​engineering/​technology discipline.

• One year of experience in science education, outreach, or related activities.
• Must be able to conduct sessions in Marathi and English.
• Must be willing to travel regularly within the MMR when required.
• Candidates should be enthusiastic about teaching and comfortable engaging with 6^th to 10^th std children from diverse backgrounds.

Candidates must bring a CV, original certificates, proof of date of birth, and photocopies of relevant documents in support of their qualifications and experience, especially prior teaching/​outreach experience.
