Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi is seeking two highly motivated and talented PhD students to join our research group. Our lab focuses on cutting-edge research in single-cell genomics and liquid biopsy, aiming to bridge the gap between computational modeling and experimental biology.

IIIT Delhi is looking for candidates from diverse backgrounds who possess a strong academic record and a passion for multidisciplinary research.

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Developing and applying computational frameworks for systems biology.
• Analyzing high-throughput single-cell and liquid biopsy data.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to advance lab projects.

Applicants should ideally demonstrate expertise in one of the following areas:

• Computational: Coding in R/​Python, Data Science concepts, and Machine Learning.
• Experimental: Molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA purification) and familiarity with cell culture.

Core Requirements

• Proficiency in programming (R or Python).
• Solid understanding of Biological Sciences.
• Prior experience in Computational Biology is highly preferred.

Rs. 60,000 per month.

Note: Candidates with their own fellowships will receive a top-up to match this amount.

M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Bioscience, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
