Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Project Technical Assistant 3 for a time-bound research project with Prof. V. Balasubramanian in the Department of Surgical Oncology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai (https://srmcri.sriramachandra.…). The project, titled “Integrative Evaluation of Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy and Circulating Tumor Cells in Breast Cancer Patients Treated with Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy,” is a prospective, single-center cohort study. This study is supported by a grant from DHR for five years. The successful candidate will be working in the Cancer Biology Laboratory (Prof. TS Ganesan, Dept of Medical Oncology; https://sriramachandra.edu/foc… s‑ganesan/). The person will be involved in patient recruitment, sample collection, processing, and analysis using various molecular biology techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated researcher to contribute to a significant clinical study in an area of high unmet need in the Indian context.
Age limit: Not more than 35 years as on the date of advertisement.
Duration
The position is contractual and will be offered on an annual basis extended for up to 5 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
Money
Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA (24% of basic pay)
Qualification
M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences candidates with prior technical experience in molecular biology will be essential.
